The beauty of being part of a multi-grade level school is that everyone can learn from each other. As a grown up, I am reminded daily to slow down and realize there are more important things than completing daily obligations.

This school year, I have seen little girls being great "moms" to their "babies." Also, I have seen high schoolers remembering how fun it is to be a kid in a playground. Young boys build endurance in their fort battles, and house stewards learn to lead by helping younger students master hard tasks.

These are things that simply cannot be learned from a book: I am truly thankful to be part of this community where no one is too large or too small to learn from the other.
